What a Session Feels Like
A typical prenatal session is slow and calming. You will be positioned comfortably, usually side-lying with pillows for support. Your practitioner focuses on wherever you are holding the most fluid, most often your legs, ankles, and feet, and sometimes your hands and face.
Sessions are usually shorter and gentler than a full body MLD. Many clients book every 2 to 4 weeks as swelling builds through the second and third trimesters.
Can You Get MLD After Birth Too?
Yes. Postpartum swelling, hormonal shifts, and the physical toll of labor all respond well to gentle lymphatic work once your provider clears you for bodywork.
